The nearby village of Rothwell is well known for its naturalized Daffodils, which grow along all the road sides, at their hight now.

I wonder who the person was , who planted those ?

Cast1es Level 9 Mar 24, 2019

They are not wild as such, but they started with just a small number planted by a local farmer to mark the approach to the farm gates, and they just spread over some forty/fifty years or so.

They grow along the roads here, also - just not in front of my house... they always look happy to me & make me smile.

Stunning sight! Reminds me of the blue bonnets here in Texas. Fields and fields of blue!

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
