Ornamental plum

@Heidi68 - I had an ornamental plum at the house I sold last fall - it produced plums after it was about 10 years old! They were also ornamental, but I did make jam out of them!

@Rustee I have only had this one planted for about 2.5 years. I didn't know it would eventually produce fruit - bonus! My favorite dog is buried beneath it (I think that is a country song) ?. I thought it was beautiful, almost as beautiful as my Raini girl.

@Heidi68 - wow, same with me: the ashes of a special dog were buried when that tree was planted. I don't know if they all eventually produce, but I had simply wanted an ornamental tree. The plums were a nice bonus!
