I've bored my coworkers with talk of seed starting and gardening.
A noob to homesteading. I'm starting a garden from scratch in the front yard this year, and hopefully will have enough land cleared to get pigs next year.
There’s something amazing when you start from seed and see the plants growing
Yes! I set up shelves and LED lights for seed starting and talk to the seedlings when I go down to water them.
@theheather1 I’ll talk to them but they don’t have any special light just what they get from sitting in the conservatory
Hope they're not anywhere near the house . The smell can get pretty potent .
The plan is to not have them too close tothe house, but close enough that trudging through the snow in the winter isn't too bad.

Posted by KateOahuThis morning I went to a class for making a terrarium with native plants at the Waikiki Community Center, which is about three blocks from where I live.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
