Interesting picture! I am a lot further north of you but I have a few that are several inches already.
My asparagus has sprouted. Some shoots are over 2 feet tall. I don't know what to do??

Eat 'em, quick!! Waiting for mine, did find one little 2" sprout a couple days ago but now with the latest cold snap, it isn't coming above the leaf cover I have left on them so far. Keep in mind, if you let it get 2 feet tall there will only be select parts you can eat. You need to get them early, before they start to send out "branches".
Harvest them at about five or six inches tall , and they will regrow all season long .
I always wanted to grow asparagus. I've never lived anywhere long enough.
