I had to look and see where you're from. I love Trilium and grew it once. It's protected here in Michigan
I had never seen it until it "volunteered" a few summers ago. I don't know if the previous homeowner planted it.....or it just landed here as a happy accident. There were 3 originally and I transplanted them....the cat dug one up and one didn't make it thru the winter but this one clump seems to be thriving.
One of my favorite blooms! Reminds me to add a few to my spring acquisitions .
Beautiful pictures. I also noted they don't have to go far to be watered. lol
the spigot is purely decorative.... lol....just on a spike stuck into the ground next to the little small plastic pond nestled into a spot that was created during the building process - as the gigantic rocks were unearthed they were pushed all together and now they are covered in moss and flowering ground covers. The little pond serves as the cat's personal watering bowl.....
