Food Security and a surprise for me.
People had been telling me to check out our local paper and I got a surprise. A group picture from our gleaners groups was shown with an article about food security (I guess someday I’ll learn to smile). Good thing William Tell wasn’t around.

Do you have an apple on your head? !
That's fun
This was someone else's idea but it was funny (so why didn't I laugh?)
@JackPedigo I am sure you laughed at the picture once you saw it.
@Zoohome I wish. I always hate my pictures. Funny, I once read that is common. People (some) prefer seeing themselves in the mirror than in a picture.
@JackPedigo I don't care for both ways. I barely look at the mirror (usually when I brush my teeth) and I don't care for seeing my pictures, specially hanging them around. I feel awkward
@Zoohome The one here seems very nice. Funny, but I have been on numerous boards and am usually the secretary. My first board we taped to meetings so I wouldn't miss anything. At one point someone mentioned that I was very quiet and I said that was because I hated to hear my voice (I thought I sounded like a Texass hick). Others have said I have a nice voice. Go figure. It's just a mental thing.
@JackPedigo very, I would say that is the example of humbleness
@Zoohome Must have been from my Catholic upbringing? I think it's from being introverted.
@JackPedigo a combination I would say
I would say you look fantastic, but I am not sure which one is you! Congrats on the mention though!
The only one "not smiling", there is a J almost hidden name tag
@Zoohome Very good eyesight. This was a last minute group foto and I never expected it to be published. Besides, it's a start of a smile. Maybe next time.
Looks like you enjoy what you do .
It is a great way to socialize and we get free fruit (actually it's not free we have to work for it.)
Smile!
I am trying (at least on the inside).

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
