Back from 21 days traveling. While we were gone it stormed and rained almost every other day in our community. Plus, our neighboring communities were struck by at least 13 tornados, 2 of which were class 4. My yard looked like a jungle when we got home, except for the marvelously manicured lawns courtesy of my "yard Nazi" neighbor. On the plus side of all this, our tomatoes grew about 3 feet & Linda harvested 4 gallons of strawberries in one day. The neighbors all enjoyed the huge asparagus crop. Gardens seem to unite our neighborhood.
4 gallons! Going to make jam?
Yep. Linda makes jam every year. We gave half gallon tubs to the neighbors who cared for our cats and the folks who mowed our lawn. That was only the first harvest. We'll get a lot more over the next few weeks.
Welcome back!
Thanks CB.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
