Photographed from my kitchen window hence the vertical reflection left hand side!
Here is the display in my neighbour's yard that I have now been waiting about 5 months for - the blooming red bottle brush trees - it has been 6 days since the first red appeared - & in another week hopefully twice as many?
5 months ago a very large mock cherry tree that I asked to be removed five years ago was finally taken away after pushing the fence over even more.
I think that it was worth the wait and will give me joy for quite a few months provided I can get the monkey aka my landlord off my back.
I was just looking at a dried bottle brush flower my son grabbed almost 3 years ago. It still has color.
So pretty! Enjoy
They come in many colours. The reds and Yellows are very popular in gardens here if you have the room. These reds go brown in winter and rather dull. Lots of other things flower though.
They are wonderful bird attractors. Thank you for your thoughts.
