The one blooming must have hit a sweet spot with it’s roots .πŸ˜‰

I hope

Wow , all three look very different.

Hopefully a good crop. One of my 2 yo peach has two tiny fruits on it.

Last year 1 of the trees had 2 tiny little fruits and the other tree had 1 but critters decided they needed them more than I did.....

@Heidi68 Same happened with my grapes this year.

@FrayedBear I had plenty of grapes & blackberries last year so I didn't mind sharing those... but my blueberries, strawberries & peaches - I would have liked a few of each 🀣

I watched a gardening show a couple weeks ago, with arborists discussing that new hybrids are often gained from cutting or isolating random variations from standard stock.

Nice. I found out, during my years of gardening, that the smaller the plant the faster it grows.
I planted a potted 5ft redbud and a three inch seedling at the same time. A year later the 5ft one was the same. The three inch seedling had grown four feet. The seedling has such a tiny root system that it probably didn't get shocked like the large one did.

They're more like siblings than twins, even when they are cuttings from the same mother.

Lucky you . Peaches are the best .

Fresh, ripe, peaches are the bomb!

@freeofgod Nothing better than a sweet juicy peach and nothing worse than a bad pithy one . less than 14 weeks to eastern US peach season .

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
