Do you have a close up of the flowers? I have a couple areas I like to have a ground cover like that, but the plants would need to be able to endure our hot summer temperatures.
They certainly do cover, though most of my yard is shaded for at least half the day. Some that popped up in sunny areas did not fare so well. I'll get a close-up tomorrow, perhaps there are variations?

They are an understory plant, native to woods and thrive in forest litter. They will do ok as potted plants in indirtect sunlight and shaded areas. They do much better in the pine forests of East Texas than they do in the plains areas.
