I love to look at chickens, but when I was a 4 year old, my grandmother had banties. They hated me. I would stand in fear to go outside and run into them. Wouldn't you know they would be waiting to flog me. I also like some of the show chickens. They are quite unique, but the banties, I take a wide birth. LOL.
@BettyColeman It's strange the way that animals can sense when you're wary of them....... and they seem to take advantage of it. I love chooks (Aussie word for chickens). It used to be my job to feed them in the mornings on our farm when I was growing up........ and collecting the eggs was always exciting.
They are proper free range chickens.
