Reminds me of my co-worker who was a marine in the Vietnam war.
He was in 4 or 5 helicopter/airplane crashes during the war, but survived them all.
We were flying in a small airplane from Santa Barbara to LA, and we went over a mountain peak.
A downdraft forced the plane down a few hundred feet, and every one of us in the airplane turned and looked at him.
