I don’t like either because both were pretty sexist when they started and have evolved somewhat but still leave a lot to improve.
Star Trek-all women were in secondary jobs and dressed in sexually provocative cocktail waitress uniforms. Yeah that’s the future.
Star Wars had basically one woman, Princess Leia, and her role was perennial damsel in distress who falls for misogynistic bad boy and occasionally dresses in harem/stripper outfit.
