I'm not entirely sure how I feel about copying a thread of other comments however.
Thought I'd explain that here. Maybe get some feedback.. (Note I did tell him I was stealing it and I could have done it the old fashioned way - copy and paste.).
I guess if it's on the site it's fair play.
Having worked at a Newspaper I know why it bothers me. And it just squicks me a tad. (Feel free to comment on that).

Having been the copyright person at a national newspaper, jokes and recipes are not copyrightable, so while I feel your cringe, it is not only right, it is acceptable to steal even without attribution.
@phxbillcee Oh I took it lock stock and barrel - including comments! And you'll note his name is attributed just like in the OP. (Which solves that stealing problem).
And yes I steal memes all the time as jpegs - from all over the place. And photos to be memed (but if It's a pet I ask).
Need to attach it to the lid, not the seat!
