I don't really proclaim, but I am glad many do. I think there are many who don't buy in to religion who are afraid to try and keep it in check. As more come forward we make social progress. The number of children who are still indoctrinated is tragic, and science still has to deal with backlash that should be long gone.

I don't feel the need to proclaim it, anymore than I need to proclaim I am male or white. I simply am, if you get to know me, you will discover that about me as well as a wealth of other knowledge.

I wear atheist tees as well as have an "Atheist Atom" tat on the right forearm. I hope they start discussions, & sometimes they do!
