Here's an idea. If you have a strong desire to "live on after you die"...then do good things. Help lots of people. Write books. Get something important done. Design something. Invent something.

Einstein will live on for generations; Here's a great, old Saturday Evening Post about him; a great read!

Wonder if a little tiny light bulb went off after that reality check.

When you're dead, you're dead! The worms don't know what you did. The regrets and pleasures you owned while being alive are worm food too.

i use this analogy often

you aren't implying any hypocrisy in religious belief systems are you LOL

Yeah, I know what he means & if I believed that shit I'd feel the same way!

Sometimes, you have to use their own (terrible) logic for them to get it.

The priest who molested the choirboys for years can go to confession, and then be forgiven and go to imaginary heaven. The atheist who has never harmed anyone, and helps his fellow human without expecting a reward will go to imaginary hell.

The sounds fake as hell

Thanks for your input. Your aggressive disbelief is noted.
The point the original post makes still stands.

@jenandjuice1111 He talks about how a 12 year old atheist boy was kidnapped raped and murdered. Who talks like that? Christians. Atheists don't believe in burning in hell after you die, so why would he say that? Maybe it's propaganda.

I have a low tolerance for things like this. I apologize for my aggression.

@Squirrel He was responding to the beliefs of the OP, & not necessarily with his own. Need a little more nuance, I think.

@phxbillcee Ok, ty

@Squirrel It's all good!
