Only the ones who have been hand raised by humans are sweet, kind and cuddly. There are behavioral differences between black bears and grizzlies. Black bears generally go out of their way to avoid humans, often hiding in trees when humans approach. A grizzly will ignore humans but are perfectly willing to rip a person's head off if they get too close.
I go camping in areas that have black bears.
