The Chinese cleaver is identified as a fillet knife. A fillet knife is a long thin knife used to delicately to remove the bones from meat whereas a cleaver is used to cut both meat and bones into hunks. A cleaver is used with fearsome force. A fillet knife is used with a delicate feel. Worlds apart.
Pass me that cutlass for the growling cusses. A Bowie knife would do.
Finally, a cutting knife with a REAL grip. Good for women's hands.
