Now I love the Thanksgiving holiday (in any month) as in - no gifts, no pressure, good food with friends and family . . pretty near perfect holiday. That being said . . . the marketing images of November Thanksgiving don't line up with the reality of October Thanksgiving

That's a Yankee Thanksgiving.
Here in South Carolina we normally if we see snow, it'll be a light dusting that mostly melts by 3 p.m. and it'll be in late January or early Feburary.
I used to live in Florida where snow was a once in a decade experience and obscenely light.
**Look! It's a flake!" describes snow fall in Dixie.
