Look at a picture of the desert with a long saguaro cactus and that is Thanksgiving where I live.
Here in South Carolina we normally if we see snow, it'll be a light dusting that mostly melts by 3 p.m. and it'll be in late January or early Feburary.
I used to live in Florida where snow was a once in a decade experience and obscenely light.
**Look! It's a flake!" describes snow fall in Dixie.
Must admit that for all the hype US Thanksgiving is so yesterday on Friday
