Hmm, I'm pretty sure you can get non-imitation crab pretty much anywhere in the US & Canada. Might be expensive and frozen but probably obtainable.
Although I suspect that they have all been disarmed by that time. LOL

Frozen seafood I can get. They freeze seafood after it doesn't sell at the seafood market on the shore. Before spoilage starts, they ship it inland. Therefore, I'm leery of buying frozen seafood. If I can see the sea, I'll buy the seafood.

@WonderWartHog99 Uhm... I don't really want to argue about this, but that's not correct at all. Depending on the industry, the details might be different, but they have floating, as well as land based, processing plants that take the live crab off the boats, cook, freeze, pack and ship them to markets all over the continent. (world?)
I'm a little bit of a crab enthusiast and know & have met people who have and still worked in the industry.
If you don't like the frozen stuff and choose not to buy/eat it, that's fine and your choice for sure.
