The editors of Outside magazine say "stay home." Going to parks to backpack outside also means traveling through communities buying gasoline, groceries, meals, etc. and staying near rural hospitals that haven't factored you in should you become ill.

Some guys ruin all the fun. BTW, the editor is a woman.
