He'll find plenty of critters to eat in nature. 
@BestWithoutGods Yeah but he won't be able to find the can opener....
That brings up an interesting supposition. If all the big and little - rare and common - breeds were to suddenly "get set free"....what would be the genetic trends? I'm guessing a sort of "de-evolution" back to one common size and shape; wolf-ish? Fox-ish? Hmmmm.
And of course; my question has already been studied....
