I once knew a thimble head who wore hand made aka crude mis-shapen felt hats that he called fez. He claimed that he could smuggle stuff through customs because they wouldn't dare ask him to remove his religious garment. I don't know if he is still doing time or now pleasant!

On the other extreme I've heard the dreaded phrase "Cheese it! It's the Fez!"
@WonderWartHog99 it has finally dawned on me tat it is all a matter of how you pronounce it. He who laughs last may have only just seen the joke but may apprecate it more and therefore laughs longer.
