Numbers don't lie, it is the interpretations that produce lies
I remember as I was growing up, my Dad was given a book that had a title like... How to lie with statistics...
I was too young to read it at the time, but the concept stuck with me and (gave me permission? to) question stats and numbers and the like.
Just by seeing the title, I became more skeptical.
