A few great ones here. &, of course, I "borrowed" them...but, I promise to share!
Why was it OK for the Beatles but not Matt Gaetz?
Did Beatles have sex with 17 year olds? I could see that happening. I guess the difference would be the paying for it and the age difference...... Any rate, kind of funny and in full disclosure, Iβm not a fan of the man. Would I of posted it if I agreed more with him . Not sure, but there are few politicians who I am a fan of.
@Rudy1962 These rockers did: [phoenixnewtimes.com]
they were writing the song as teenagers, to teenagers, about teenagers.
Not that it was right, but rock musicians & US Congressman are supposed to be two different things.
@Bikes4Fish well, in all fairness, Matt has the emotional maturity of a teenager - at best
@Bikes4Fish "I saw her standing there" came out in 1963. John was 22. Paul was 20 or 21. George Harrison was 20. Ringo couldn't write a song if his life depended on it.
@Bikes4Fish, @phxbillcee Rock musicians are much more honest and trustworthy.
@BD66 & they were writing to a teen audience, for the most part, at that time. & I've got to agree w/ your assessment of musicians vs politicians!
