If Jesus were born in revolutionary France, Christian churches would all be adorned with guillotines, and if he were born in Alabama, Christians would be wearing little electric chairs dangling from their necks!

Here's one example...
It could be a barrel. Romans used to put execution victims in a barrel with nails pounded into the sides and roll it down a hill.
