It's a free for all now with respect to anything remotely political. You can do whatever you want to because any penalty will be comparatively insignificant or nonexistent.

@Buttercup some like to complain about "liberal" California's more strict gun laws - the majority of which were put in place by Ronald Reagan, with the support of the NRA, to stop the Black Panthers from arming themselves and then following cops around their neighborhood in order to protect their neighbors from the cops.
