It is an interesting take and I would be curious to know what those owning guns think about this. I personally think we need a lot more than what he is stating but it is a start. I also think that the NRA has way too much lobbying power and nothing will change until law makers can no longer take their money. I like that he speaks clearly and calmly as all the hyper responses just get people worked up and they begin yelling rather than listening and until we can all sit down and figure this out - this violence is going to continue.
I just read another article which states that the shooter's father is a therapist and works with people who are victims of violence. SO unless dad here is a real nut job who should not be a therapist, it would appear as if the shooter came from a rather normal family. I realize this doesn't mean he was never bullied but it would also seem that if he was having these types of problems, he was a member of a family that would have the knowledge to see it and potentially intervene.
A larger question is where did this shooter get his hatred for brown skin people. Another question is where did he get his weapons?
