For the record oldman77 is my dad. He is the smartest man I know, it would behoove you to listen to what he says, because he almost always knows what he is talking about. He is to be treated with common courtesy and respect without question.

I know you and many others totally opposed such an absurd statement from that arrogant WH agent. NOBODY deserves respect "without question, whether it is the President, a minister, or me.
Rather, I would invite anyone to read and consider what I write and make whatever comments or criticisms they like. There are several sides to the gun issue and a variety of proposed laws and rules proposed, and we owe the truth an honest hearing for many of them.

I don't meet crazy demands and no one is my guru. Everyone should be treated with equal dignity and not "special" demands for someone because they are your dad. I don't do a damn thing "without question". Are you running a group or trying to start your own personal kingdom?

You're good, you can tease and still be respectful, I'm not worried about that. It's the ammosexuals that he is bound to piss off that I'm talking about. I guarantee you he knows more about guns than most of those assholes, not to mention the fact that he was captain of a rifle team when he was in the reserves.
