@Petter Rarely drink the stuff let alone piss plonk. 
@FrayedBear I probably consume 200cc of red wine per week, and nothing else.
@Petter A fifth of a litre is not much. It must go off in the bottle or are you getting it from silver bladders?
@FrayedBear Silver bladders, which I believe were an Oz creation.
@Petter So I believe. The old glass demijohns were great but heavy to ship to the other side of the world and short of building a pipeline the bladder became a very useful item. Particularly as Australians tend to drink excessively. 30 years ago I helped an alcoholic with five children who drank in excess of 2 litres in 2 hours every night once the children were home. She ended up trying to murder me in one of her many outrageous drunken rages.

@Marionville No I never consider attempts by drunken women, whether ex-lovers or not, to slash my jugular in any way jocular. Despite 8 stitches and nearly 30 years I still have the scar.
@FrayedBear Sorry to hear it was so serious...had no idea. Glad she didn’t succeed. Did she get prosecuted?
@Marionville Her in law cousin was chief judge of the State Courts. Her lawyer was a former federal judge who about 20 years later was gaoled for perjury & attempting to pervert the course of justice - what do you think?
