Hi Guys. I have just seen the temperature prediction of 39C for you.

I haven’t been in UK for 12 years but we get 40+ in Victoria Aus which is really unbearable for a Pom like me.

All I can say is keep out of the heat and drink loads and loads of water. I know when I lived there air-conditioning in homes was not common so please look for as much shade as you can get. Thinking of you all because I know how challenging it can be. Keep safe, all.

Took my kids into the garden to perform a rain dance this evening. They were quite pleasantly surprised when the heavens opened half an hour later.

It is very variable around the country. The east side get it the hottest at the moment but it is a bit heavy and humid here in the west of England. However, one of the great things about our climate is the weather changes quickly.

Thanks for the good wishes Geoffrey51. It's 34 in Cambridge today, but the humidity makes it feel hotter. However, the sun is shining on some beautiful willow trees by the River Cam, so who could possibly object? Not me.
