Our new chancellor is a former hedge fund manager. Someone who gambles with other peoples money. Seems to be perfectly qualified for the job.

Hedge fund managers don't merely gamble with other people's money. That's far too risky unless they have inside information. Their favourite ploy is to buy undervalued companies, then asset strip them and sell the dregs.

@OwlInASack Precisely. The bottom line - with lots of zeros after the first 3 numbers - is the raison d'etre of any hedge fund.
He only needs one qualification to be Boris’s Chancellor and he definitely has it..........he’s a YES man!
