"would you buy a used car from this man?"
Our new chancellor is a former hedge fund manager. Someone who gambles with other peoples money. Seems to be perfectly qualified for the job.

Perfectly qualified: he's lovestruck by his boss. And so greasy he has to be tied to chairs to stop him sliding off.

Hedge fund managers don't merely gamble with other people's money. That's far too risky unless they have inside information. Their favourite ploy is to buy undervalued companies, then asset strip them and sell the dregs.
NOW I BET YOU'RE REALLY, REALLY WORRIED

And use tax havens to avoid paying tax in the UK. Oh for the good old days of Broon as chancellor.

@Moravian To quote Joni Mitchell....”you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone “!

@OwlInASack Precisely. The bottom line - with lots of zeros after the first 3 numbers - is the raison d'etre of any hedge fund.

He only needs one qualification to be Boris’s Chancellor and he definitely has it..........he’s a YES man!

He probably even wears Y front underpants!

@Mcflewster Probably....but that would be mere speculation! 😂
