News flash just in......Boris Johnston who is in St. Thomas’s Hospital, has been moved to Intensive Care as his condition has worsened. He has appointed Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab as leader of the Government in his absence.

Pound falling. Faith in politics shattered Headless chickens at the top of government. What happened to cabinet collective responsibility? Thought we once had deputy prime ministers where does it end?

As Dominic Cummings is running things behind the scenes anyway, it doesn’t really matter whether it’s Boris or Raab who mouths the words does it?

@Marionville I heard that quite a few of the top cabinet have got the virus and incuding Dominic. Knowing their record they will try to cover things up . Now is the time for National government.

@Mcflewster If they couldn’t agree to do it over Brexit strategy, I can’t see them doing it now!

@Marionville Well both of those facts speak volumes. Cannot believe that the exact number who wanted Brexit will NEVER be known in fair surveying without a background of lies now admitted.

@Mcflewster Maybe like Trump in the USA...Boris & his lot will find that they have met an opponent that they can’t bluster & lie about, in this virus!

Oh no poor old Boris!

Do I detect a hint of shadenfreude ?

@Marionville No not at all. I sincerely wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Boris is a bumbling fool but that’s too much ch for anyone, plus he’s got a pregnant wife. I sincerely wish him a speedy recovery. If it were that dumbfuck American prick I may feel differently!

@Geoffrey51 yes...I wish him a speedy recovery too.

I’m sorry to hear it too. I’m sure he’s receiving the best possible care.

Posted by MattHardyA Boris promise is just a lie that hasn't happened yet. Whatever Sue Grey says, no way is Boris going to admit he lied and resign.

Posted by HawkeyeNew to this group, thanks for having me :) Thought I would share something that has had my poor wee atheist brain turning for a few days (the article is a few days old).

Posted by webspider555I’m beginning to wonder whether our government is just incompetent or are all these things happening just to get us in a rage arguing amongst ourselves.
