Stjepan Hauser...or just Hauser, is one part of the musical duo “ 2 Cellists”, both from Croatia and very talented musicians. Here Hauser performs The Lonely Shepherd...the well known James Last piece, floating on a raft in the Krka River, against the stunning backdrop of the Krka Waterfalls, in the Krka National Park, Croatia.

@Marionville Be warned but you asked for it. The first weekend in May is the traditional starting of the yachting season in Seattle (The area has one of the highest per-capita boat owners in the nation - look at a map to see why). Our first year in the city was a glorious day and lots of events were happening at the downtown lake - Lake Union. My partner had just found a job with a travel group and we had gotten an invitation on board a large boat with food and speakers. There was the annual shell boat races between the Navy, team from China and the Univ. of Washington (we won of course). One really neat thing were numerous musicians playing from their boats or other floating objects and one that really struck home (and obviously still remember it) was a plain raft with a person dressed as the creature from the Black Lagoon playing a baby grand piano. I don't have a picture but here is one of the creature.
Beautiful falls. Ah, the wonders of miming! Who cares what he is actually playing but I suppose he might be listening to himself in some way. Somehow the sound of the waterfalls never happens. Fake playing. Nice piece.

It’s how most music videos are made...yes he was acting out, but he did actually play the cello to record the piece in the first place so it’s still him making the music and that was not fake.
