I’ve posted in my other music groups today about it being Morten Harket’s 62nd birthday today and so I’m going to post a couple of his songs here too..but as this is the World Group they’ll have a more international flavour by my posting only songs in Norwegian. The first is Engelen (Angels) from his 1993 album Poetenes Evangelium (The Gospel of the Poets) and the second Jeg Kjenner Ingen Fremtid (I Don’t Know The Future) from his 1996 album Vogt’s Villa.
….for those of you who do not realise by now who Morten Harket is…he’s the lead singer of the Norwegian band a-ha…and my favourite singer in the entire world since 1985!

Yes…the album Vogt’s Villa title was taken from the house on a remote island where Morten went to write material for the album. The scenery is from the surrounding area.
There is a similarity to Newfoundland.
Yes the songs were gentle and pleasant enough. I have no idea why M you are so fond of this guy.

I love them both, but Jeg Kjenner Ingen Fremtid has a beautiful dark, sexy thing going on. I'd never heard that one before.

Glad to introduce it to you…it’s a big favourite of mine, I’ve had it on a playlist since I first heard it! We used to call him sex on legs…but it’s not just his looks that are sexy…his voice is sexy and seductive even if he looked like the back end of a bus. Thankfully his looks match the voice perfectly! Talking about darkly sexy…have you listened to Little Black Heart which I posted earlier in the Music fans group? 
@Marionville I've always been big on voice over looks, but he certainly has an abundance of both! And he's keeping both VERY well as he ages. 
No, I haven't, but I'll go listen to it now.
