Last year that great Irish band Clannad updated their hit song from 1985 on which Moyà Brennan duetted with Bono, live on RTE’s The Late Show…but with up and coming young Irish singer Aisling Jarvis standing in for Bono, and accompanied live in the studio by the RTE Concert Orchestra. - In A Lifetime.

Yes…of course, but the two are not in competition with each other. The group is 30 years older and are now renewing and updating it live for a 21st century audience ….which is how music should be. The original creators of the music are just bringing in and encouraging a new younger generation of artists to collaborate and reinterpret their music. They’re keeping their careers and the music alive & evolving, by performing it live, in a slightly different form and arrangement.
