I’ve come to really like this popular Norwegian singer and songwriter who switched from a career as a journalist to devote all her time to creating music and performing …her name is Kari Bremnes and here she performs live - Sa Fullt Av Ja (So Full Of Yes).
Yes….of course, she’s great, one of the best female singers of the past 40 + years, and is an international star both with the Eurythmics and as a solo artiste. This was one of The Eurythmics biggest hits. It’s a favourite of mine too.
What we try to do in this group is highlight less well known musicians and singers from around the world, from outside the mainstream popular western music culture of the USA/U.K. Songs not sung in English …or sung in English by artists whose native language isn’t English…for instance.
@Marionville Sorry if I overstepped the rules. I’ll try to remember before I post again.
@Justme43 That’s ok…just wanted you to be aware. The other music groups..such as Music Fans and Classic Rock cater more for the most popular mainstream music. I’m host in both of them too…so you’re most welcome to post your favourites there.
She has a very mellow voice. I could imagine listening to her while falling off to sleep. Thanks for sharing her.
My pleasure.
Nice figure and pleasant singer! I really liked the keyboard work and the gentle rolling of the music.
I’ve recently discovered her…I really like this one too…..Nytt Imellom Os (New Between Us)…there’s something really beautifully calming about her voice…
@Marionville Yes, calming. Less pointy peaks than around here. More glaciated. Snow wise about April for us.
