French Electronic group M83 teamed up with Norwegian singer Susanne Sundfor to perform live, the main theme for the 2013 movie Oblivion which starred Tom Cruise. M83 were commissioned to write the film’s full soundtrack.

I hadn't seen the movie either, and that was marvelous! I'll have to pull up more of their stuff, particularly the electronica.

Susanne is actually a solo artiste in her own right. She has also done a lot of work with Norwegian electronic group Royksopp.

@Marionville I didn't realize she typically did electronic music - I presumed it was just for this joint composition. I'll definitely check out more of her stuff, and Royksopp as well.

@Lauren Her solo material isn’t electronic…she’s got an amazing voice. I think her collaborations with Royksopp was probably why M83 thought she’d be a good fit for them too. Here’s one of her best known solo songs…

@Marionville This was nice. I listened to a lot of the M83 festival stuff while working today, and will try to do more of her stuff tomorrow.
