19th century Russian author Alexander Pushkin wrote a book about a bored Russian aristocrat from St.Petersburg and his rather pointless existence …his name Eugene Onegin. It not only became a literary classic, it also inspired many others to write plays, ballets and operas based on it…the best known of which is by Tchaikovsky. I’ve chosen this performance of the Polonaise from the Tchaikovsky opera at the Bolshoi Theatre Moscow in 2000…

Beautiful! So elegant!
