Yesterday, here in the U.K. we saw and heard that an iconic sycamore tree at Sycamore Gap near Hadrian’s Wall in Northumberland National Park was cut down overnight in an act of sheer vandalism. The tree was featured in the Hollywood movie “Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves” and other films and it’s just very sad that someone decided to destroy it so senselessly. I’m posting my own tribute with this song called Sycamore Leaves by a-ha - performed live at Nobel Prize Concert in 2015.

@Marionville : Thought you might be interested to know I'm at the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame right now. Saw this chance to draw their attention to Aha, not likely to do much good though. It amazes me how many artists are profiled here that I never heard of.
