I’m much closer to heart & home today with a song from Islay in the western isles of Scotland which I sang at school many years ago. Westering Home is a song with words written in 1921 by Glasgow composer and choral master Hugh Robertson and put to a traditional Gaelic tune “Eileen Mo Chridhe”/ Isle of my Heart”. This version by Jamie & Sophie is based on folk group The Corries 70’s interpretation of the song…

Yes…since infant school choir when I was 5 years old.
@Marionville I think you beat me by a year. I first remember singing solo in Away in a manger when I was six.
