This sounds familiar.
There's a new video on Netflix. A British film both in London and Scotland. Kind of weird at first but at the competition, two singers stood waaay out. Worth a view.

@Marionville One interesting part is during a contest in London. One woman had serious stage fright and was throwing up. The main character was helping and encouraging on. She stepped out on stage opened her mouth and it was both hilarious and amazing..
