Do you own any exercise equipment or props? If so, do you use them consistently? I have a yoga belt, but I'm a little inconsistent with it. I do like it for stretching since it allows me to bend farther than I naturally can. I have an elliptical in the garage that's almost abandoned. Poor thing.

I have resistance tube that 60 pound and a pull up bar and i have a barbell that 100 pound. And 10 pound bells. I'm getting stronger and fit. By the time April come I should be able to curl my 100 pound barbell. For my cardio workout I walk like a mile with a 20 pound weight vest and 10 pound ankle weight. Jump rope for 1 minutes.

I have a yoga mat and DVD, a rowing machine and 10 lb dumb bells. I also have access to a workout room. It's common to be inconsistent, so it's ok. Just don't stop starting back up. : )

I used to have a rowing machine and free weights. Stopped using them, joibed a gym, and now have dumbells, stretchy bands, and medicine balls.

I have a Wii, the original Wii with Wii Fit one and two and some other packages. I have a Fitbit Blaze. I have a stepper device. I have an exercise ball that is only partially deflated. I have yoga mat, blocks, bands. And I have 100# or so of free weights.

But do you use them?

@RavenCT Sometimes, not as often as I should.

2

Kickboxing bag, lots and lots of weights, Heavy Duty Resistance Bands (which get the most use, besides the kick boxing bag), I bend steel for about 10 to 16 hours a day, and a cat who is a fighter and a lover. The weights had to be put away out of my sight, because I received an injury under my left rib, but everything else is used pretty regularly.

I have an elliptical I use for 30 minutes four times a week

I have a treadmill that I need to get back into the habit of using. I tend to get lazy in the winter.

Having to mow my lawn every week actually helps keep me motivated to be more active during the warmer months.

my little free weights are in use every morning. other than that i only have a gym band (aka resistance band) & a gym ball, both not in use recently.

A 4£ thick yoga mattress and 15£ parallettes. Types of exercises I do are animal movements, solo grappling, push-ups v-sit, handstand pike-push-ups pull-ups. if I would not rent probably I would buy gymnastic rings.

Yoga bricks, belt, mat.... if my body ever allows it again they'll be of good use again. And yes I did use them. Far better than overstretching.

I'm a lifelong runner, other than good shoes, no assembly required. 🙂

I have a yoga mat I use every morning and 5- and 10-pound handweights. That's it. My brother, who is an MAT specialist, has given me exercises (he does not recommend forcing a stretch beyond what you can naturally do, btw) and they keep me strong and able to move. The weights are just for a little bit of upper body strength training.

I still have my weight set - packed away in the garage. Used it in my mid-20s. Unused for 20 years now.

Yes; I use my own 2010 invention, a "gallopers" device which gives me "the four-footed advantage," allowing me to lope for hours uphill and down on steep stony or treacherous trails, without slipping or even tiring, at about the speed of a slow jog. I can also move very fast, such as when playing "galloper ball" soccer with my friends.

Oddly, using them for even a few seconds, as when friends grab the gallopers and make a run across the courtyard, causes people to wake up with hardened ab muscles, and muscled shoulders. It also slims the waist, develops back muscles and makes the entire body so limber that when I use them only a few minutes I can stand there with my palms flat on the floor, without pain.

It also puts weight on a pressure point that gives one a sense of euphoria and peacefulness, which might be why my friends become hostile about returning the gallopers to me after briefly using them. Because people get so angry about it, I now don't allow people to borrow them, although I've made extra pairs for my ex and a close friend, so we could zip around the hills together. But I didn't give the gallopers to them, since that would be considered "disclosure," and could cancel future patenting rights.

While using them, the sensation is as though one is in an "avatar" animal body, since I can effortless bound and leap over ditches like a deer. It feels like my primative "lizard brain" is awakened, and I "remember" being four-footed, finally "coming home."

The animals and birds see me as a deer as well, allowing me to approach closely. Once, a pack of feral wild dogs started hunting me while I was loping through a Thailand jungle area, circling out around me to cut me off. I had to stop, and hold the gallopers away from me to convince them I was human.

Currently I workout 3 days a week but mostly it's limited to upper body and some waist twisting movements. I used to workout as a bodybuilder years ago but things have changed and I have also. I got away from weights and went with an early model Bowflex. I invent my own movements with this and also use a Total Gym as a rowing machine, again inventing my movements. Much needed are more for my waist and legs. I get lazy. These days I'm an old man who is a 250 lb. gorilla.
