Could the clamour for an explanation of his cowardly desertion be a sign of the beginning of the end of times for Morrison PM? There’s a cheerful yuletide thought."

Guardian I think). But if they are sailing rudderless, then Morrison should return to his job. He's a fool because this could've been an opportunity to increase popularity. As you say, he thinks he is god's anointed; but he only got the job because people didn't like Shorten.

Well it seems that Happy Clappy Jesus Chappy has 'deserted the ship' and is taking a 'holiday' overseas while the country burns according to the latest news reports.
Nice to know just how much we can depend on our 'Captain' in times of dire troubles, isn't it?
At least Emperor Nero had the decency to stick around while Rome was burning and the Captain of the Titanic had the courage expected of maritime sea Captains and went down with his ship but NOT Captain Shouty McShittypants, as soon as things got hot he takes flight, literally, and heads off elsewhere.

@FrayedBear He wouldn't be the first person to be recalled from holidays because there was an emergency at work.
@MsDemeanour Yeah, but the Emergency was happening before he left which, imho, say a whole of negatives about him and how much the people and country matter to him.
@Triphid Oh yes indeed. I'm with Frayed Bear on this. Morrison thinks the fires are just evidence of biblical prophecy regarding the End times. Labor would do well to question Morrison about how his personal beliefs are impacting on his behaviour. Most Australians don't want a fanatic leading the country. And I don't see how he can answer without upsetting either the public or his brothers and sisters of the faith.
