I’ve read a biography about Walt, he was clearly a complex character, as people who are in his position often are.
Disney bet the whole company a couple of times, and it could have easily gone bust. Producing the Snow White and the Seven Dwarves movie plus building Disneyland are examples.
As you know, he fought bitterly with his illustrators too.
I’m personally amazed that the Disney company has lasted a hundred years.
Or Dumbo could sit on you.....

Not lion, they threatened to sic Simba on me. That’s not the mane part of the tail though. The whole experience gave me paws for thought.
