That reminds me I wrote, of the blind man at the side of the road holding out a biscuit to his guide dog who had just nearly walked him under a truck. The truckie leaned out the cab and shouted "by heck, that's xtian of you after what that dog nearly did to you". "Xtian be buggered" the blindman shouted back " I'm trying to find his head so that I can kick his arse!"

Presumably from the screeching truck brakes and screamed epithets by the relieved truck driver.
Does it matter if the dog walked backwards or forwards to lead the blind man? It does not affect the outcome. But perhaps in your neck of the woods dogs present their arses first to be fed and that explains my difficulty in your failure to visualise the scenario ... unless you were that blind man?
