I’m loving my morning walks at the moment. It’s been fresh but dry, and the last 2 mornings I’ve seen jays as well as the beautiful autumn trees.

Nice that you’ve had cooperative weather!
Most of the birds here in Montana have fled south for the winter, but I did see this sign on one of my recent walks.

Well I hope that if you see one of those it’s from a safe distance 😉

You know the saying - if you see a mountain lion it's probably too late.... be safe out there

@Heidi68
The crazy thing is that sign is on a walking trail right in town!
I didn’t even notice it the first time I passed it😳

@Haemish1 if he/she is that close in - he/she is hungry - be very very careful! They are solitary by nature so to be in that close.... scary.

@Heidi68
I was talking to some people about it - the trail is fairly close to the Berkley Pit mine - it’s a huge area and apparently has quite a few deer wandering around.

@Haemish1 hopefully the deer make easy prey?...

@Heidi68
Like fish in a barrel🙂

Posted by CallMeDaveI've never been a big wildflower person, but this is the season for it here in Appalachia. Other people can identify every variety. I'm not there yet.
