Right! We're now moving into an era of being like fruit to throw away after we age and bruise 
I've also noticed it being referred to in the media via acknowledgement in means of thinning the heard out. Have I mentioned, ordinary, yet?
Even on the Rick Sanchez show it's being mentioned ever so diligently as not to be very aware. No anger in this what so ever. Our media should be plastering this message with great concern demanding better for our senior citizens! Quite frankly I find it totally disgusting.
They are actually weighing it out between being a positive and negative at the same time while suggesting the pros it might bring to the job force.
At least on the Sanchez show they are still leading a narrative of how unprepared capitalism has left us with dealing with it. Lee Camp had a good interview with Richard Wolff on it last night.
It reminded me of how people think kids shouldn't be heard and old people should be discarded. What the hell has led us to this type of psychopath/sociopath mentality in this country? Is it the greed that capitalism teaches? I've seen the mentality in some other countries and they seem to cherish their old.
I actually just saw the interview with Wolff today.
We stopped being a people who lived within our families but instead set up individual homes and hoped our parents would look after theirs, who lived somewhere else. And when the people got old we put them into care homes where they ceased to be a family problem. But those homes often were squalid. We knew but shrugged our shoulders. having them at hospital standards was too expensive.

Shocking but not surprising. I am so glad that my late wife and my father are not still alive and living in long term care facilities these days. Those places have become a deathtrap with this virus.
