Shujaat Bhukari: A Brave Reporter, A Real Journalist
We should have a independent journalist week! This is the life of people who get the real news to us out there actually putting their lives on the line for us. Like Robert Parry did and Abby Martin do that I boast about so often on here. While most of our population swoon over the likes of Maddow, Colbert, Stewart, Maher, Oliver, etc. These people spewing out the establishment fake narrative so called news only serving to keep us divided and from knowing the real issues going on within our own government and around the world. Keeping our minds trapped within a couple to few issues with repetitive brainwashing style reporting night after night from the safety of behind desk and screen for their 6 figure salaries. You'll never see them in the middle of conflicts as we did Robert Parry in the 80's in Latin America exposing the truths to our interference there. Without Robert Parry we would never have known about the Iran-Contra affair. Or Abby Martin in Venezuela and other parts of Latin America, Palestine, Gaza, and the Middle East. Without Abby you'd never see the inside of Gaza's open air prison, other than maybe the bombs landing within along with a false incomplete story line controlled by the owner of that particular network. Or the truth of the Venezuela riots, markets, currency black market, and new sources within that country. Or what damages corporations are doing within Latin America and our governments interference has brought to their people within the right puppet governments we helped install there.
